Upgrading or Downgrading Your Hosting Plan

Changing Your Hosting Plan

As your needs change, you can upgrade or downgrade your hosting package.

When to Upgrade

Consider upgrading if:

  • You're running out of disk space
  • You're hitting bandwidth limits
  • You need more email accounts
  • Your website traffic has increased
  • You need additional features

How to Upgrade

  1. Log into Hostdeal Hub
  2. Go to Services
  3. Click on the service you want to upgrade
  4. Click Upgrade/Downgrade
  5. Select your new plan
  6. Review the prorated charges
  7. Confirm the upgrade

Prorated Billing

When you upgrade:

  • You're credited for the unused portion of your current plan
  • You're charged for the new plan from today until your billing date
  • The difference is charged or credited to your account

Downgrading

If you need a smaller plan:

  1. Ensure your current usage fits within the new plan's limits
  2. Follow the same process as upgrading
  3. Select the smaller plan

Important: Reduce your disk usage before downgrading if you're over the new plan's limits.

What Happens During Upgrade

  • Your files and databases remain intact
  • Your websites continue working
  • New resources are available immediately
  • No downtime in most cases
