How to Create an Email Account in DirectAdmin
Setting Up Email Addresses
Create professional email addresses for your domain (e.g., you@yourdomain.com).
Creating an Email Account
- Log into DirectAdmin
- Click Email Accounts
- Click Create Account
- Enter the username (the part before @)
- Enter a strong password
- Set a quota (disk space limit) or leave unlimited
- Click Create
Email Address Format
Your email addresses will be: username@yourdomain.com
Common Email Addresses to Create
- info@ - General inquiries
- support@ - Customer support
- sales@ - Sales inquiries
- admin@ - Administrative
- yourname@ - Personal
Password Requirements
Use a strong password with:
- At least 8 characters
- Mix of uppercase and lowercase
- Numbers and special characters
After Creating the Account
You can now:
- Access via Webmail
- Configure in an email client (Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.)
- Set up on your mobile device
