How to Configure Email on iPhone/iPad
Setting Up Email on iOS
Add your Hostdeal email to your iPhone or iPad.
Setup Steps
- Open Settings
- Tap Mail
- Tap Accounts
- Tap Add Account
- Select Other
- Tap Add Mail Account
Enter Your Information
- Name: Your display name
- Email: your@domain.com
- Password: Your email password
- Description: Account name (e.g., "Work Email")
Server Settings
Select IMAP and enter:
Incoming Mail Server
- Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com
- Username: your@domain.com
- Password: Your password
Outgoing Mail Server
- Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com
- Username: your@domain.com
- Password: Your password
SSL Settings
After setup, go to account settings and ensure:
- Use SSL: ON
- IMAP Port: 993
- SMTP Port: 465 or 587
Can't Verify Server?
If you see a certificate warning, tap "Continue" - this is normal for shared hosting SSL certificates.
