How to Configure Email on Android
Setting Up Email on Android
Add your Hostdeal email to your Android phone or tablet.
Using Gmail App (Recommended)
- Open the Gmail app
- Tap your profile picture (top right)
- Tap Add another account
- Select Other
- Enter your email address
- Select Personal (IMAP)
- Enter your password
- Enter server settings
Server Settings
Incoming Server
- Username: your@domain.com
- Password: Your password
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 993
- Security: SSL/TLS
Outgoing Server
- SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 465
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Require sign-in: Yes
- Username: your@domain.com
- Password: Your password
Using Samsung Email App
The process is similar - select "Other" or "IMAP" and enter the same server settings.
Sync Settings
After setup, you can adjust:
- How often to sync
- How many days of email to sync
- Notification settings
