Accessing Your WordPress Dashboard
The WordPress admin area (dashboard) is where you manage your website.
Default Login URL
Your WordPress login page is at:
https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
or
https://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php
If WordPress is in a Subfolder
https://yourdomain.com/blog/wp-admin
Login Credentials
- Username or email address
- Password you set during installation
Forgot Your Password?
- Click "Lost your password?" on the login page
- Enter your username or email
- Check your email for reset link
- Create a new password
Login Issues?
- 404 Error: Wrong URL - check your domain and folder
- Can't reset password: Check spam folder
- Too many attempts: Wait or contact support
Security Tip
Consider installing a security plugin to:
- Change the login URL
- Add two-factor authentication
- Limit login attempts
